Technology

The product technology of both flat and round wicks is based on knitting of yarns with various number of threads.

Material

Most of the wicks are made from 100% cotton. For composite wicks is also used silon, paper or for example a gold wire.

Treatment

The row wicks are going through a multistep chemical treatment:

• Refining - yarn cleaning from the heavily burnable plant rests
• Colouring - oxidizing cleaning of the wick with a bleaching effect
• Impregnation - chemical treatment of the wick to encrease in efficiency of the start-up phase of its burning
• Finishing - coating with a thin wax film

Delivery

We usually supply wicks on spools to 400 m - 1200 m. We are able to cut it according to customers request or to supply on big rollers to 10 000 m or more. If you are interested in our products, please contact our sales managers .
